How many times have I heard this phrase? Honestly, I think it at least once a day myself. But now, with experience, I\u2019ve added a follow-up question: <\/span>Do I have the time to actually implement it?<\/b><\/p>\n

The other day, I was at my creative writing course, and it turns out that the rules for writing a book are almost the same as those for bringing a new idea to life. The professor said, <\/span>\u201cEveryone has a stroke of genius, but who actually manages to write a book of real literary value?\u201d<\/span><\/i> That\u2019s a great question. And, after some serious mental gymnastics, I tried to bring this idea from writing to venture capital.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maud Ventura, a rising French author who wrote <\/span>My Husband<\/span><\/i>\u2014a novel about toxic love\u2014talked about this creative process in a podcast interview. I\u2019m a huge fan of this book and have recommended it to all my friends. Maud said that she knew she wanted to tell <\/span>that<\/span><\/i> story\u2014the story of a wife who loves her husband too much. At its core, it was a simple idea. But the real turning point was dedicating the time to turn it into a written work, realizing that she couldn\u2019t stop wanting to write about it.<\/span><\/p>\n

I believe that <\/span>simplicity is everything<\/b>. Always. But Maud\u2019s story also tells us that it\u2019s crucial to follow what truly calls to you\u2014what knocks at the door of your soul\u2014so you can pave the way for it to come to life.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you still feel the urge to keep working on your idea, maybe\u2014just maybe\u2014it\u2019s the right one.<\/span><\/p>\n
